Some photographs arrive with names and dates.
Others arrive with only silence.
What’s My Story is a place for photographs that have been passed down to me through family and friends—images of people whose names, relationships, and lives are often unknown to me today.
Some of these photographs offer clues: a handwritten name, a location, a style of clothing, or a familiar setting. Others offer nothing at all except a frozen moment in time.
In this space, I share these images and explore what little evidence exists, sometimes doing research, sometimes simply wondering. When facts are available, I’ll follow them. When they are not, I may imagine what these lives might have been like—always with respect for the reality that these were real people who lived real lives.
What’s My Story is part genealogy, part reflection, and part mystery—an attempt to honor forgotten moments rather than let them disappear.
